Polaroid River Walk Lisbon • Along the Tejo

Tour description

Once you meet your guide you will be given a bite-sized and fun introduction to the history of Polaroid the company and it's impact on popular culture and contemporary art.

We'll then get to meet a few different cameras from the polaroid family. After this everyone will be furnished with one polaroid camera each and a fresh pack of colour film, you'll be shown how to use it and given tips on how to take the best pictures possible.

We then start the walk, first checking out the LX Factory and then making our way towards the river and heading towards Belem.

- All of guides are practising contemporary artists or photographers, this is not an oral historical tour of the city -
•Introduction to the history of Polaroid photography
•Rental of a vintage polaroid camera
• 1 x pack of polaroid colour film (8 photos)
note: extra film can be purchased for 20€ per pack
•Our tours are always in small groups (maximum 8 persons) This is important to us. We aim to offer an alternative way to experience the city whilst causing minimal disruption
